“The world needs character-building education, not puppet-producing education.”

The Middle Wing comprises classes VI-VIII catering to the age group of 11 – 14 years. Middle school can be considered as the transition phase for students who have been used to looking up to a facilitator for anything they require. These students become young individuals by stepping into the middle wing where they learn to acquire resources independently. The school follows a 6-day week schedule with school timings from 7:15 am to 1:15 pm.

    ACADEMICS :

The curriculum includes the instructional practices along with the learning experiences of students. It is a blend of Scholastic and Co – scholastic modules that provides a progressive learning platform for students to augment critical thinking. The aim is to deliver in-depth knowledge of all the concepts. Extensive use of technology supplements classroom teaching, thereby making learning an immersive and enjoyable experience.

Homework assigned to students is a stimulating revision exercise, generally in the form of worksheets. Considering the recommendations of the NEP (New Education Policy 2020), activity-based learning in all subjects is emphasized at Royall Academy. The teaching methodology ensures that education imparted not only develops the foundational and high order cognitive capacities but also improves social, ethical, and emotional dispositions.

We emphasize spoken English to enrich verbal communication skills such as pronunciation and diction, coupled with excellent reading and writing skills. Educational trips and excursions in India are organized frequently to make learning interesting and meaningful through exploration and adventure. Co-curricular activities form an essential part of the curriculum to amplify students’ abilities through myriads of talent execution opportunities. Along with subject lessons, the school encourages sports and physical education to maintain a healthy balance between education and exercise. It also instills team spirit, sportsmanship, and discipline in students.

We follow an integrated curricular approach with activity-based learning that facilitates the development of a healthy and irresistible personality. The curricular subjects are transacted through project methods and activities making learning joyful.

We have a special inclination to foster creativity. Students participate in hands-on experiments and create working models based on their visions and ideas. The school also offers several clubs which assist students in sharpening their imaginative and artistic skills in different fields of their choice.
